The mission of the committee (which is composed of 38
Iranian human rights advocates inside Iran and 25 outside Iran with different
political and professional orientations, who believe in freedom, democracy,
civil society, pluralism and separation of mosque and state) is to pursue the
crimes of the Islamic Republic of Iran and to assist in the initiation of
proceedings before the international tribunals as well as before the competent
tribunals of the European, the American and other countries against the
responsible officials and agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Committee to Pursue the International Crimes of the Islamic Republic of Iran
is the founder and organizer of the International Moral Court on Iran.

The International Moral Court on Iran which was founded and organized by the Committee on Crimes of Islamic Republic of Iran, is presently composed of nine highly respected world citizens of diverse nationalities, beliefs and gender. It held it's first session in Paris in September 2004 The Paris Tribunal received and heard complaints from a few individuals who had been tortured and suffered, so that their sufferings shall no longer remain out of public notice and anonymous. The Court also heard expert witnesses and examined reports by non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) such as the Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Reporters without Frontiers and United Nations experts. It subsequently rendered its opinion on the situation of gross and systematic violations of human rights in Iran .on September 25, 2004.
